I was just sewing quietly in my sewing/office/music room, and I heard the kids happily playing a card game in the living room together.
"Do you have a Jack?"
"Nope. Go fish."
"Do you have a 9?"
"Dang Nibblets!! (giggle) Here you go."
"Do you have a 7?"
"Dang Nibblets! I just picked that up!"
Dang Nibblets? Where did they get that? Who cares - as long as they're happy! It's the first day of summer vacation and all is well so far. Happy children, productive me, and a garden waiting anxiously for some water from the sky.
