Oh, I hear you! We had a shower but no tub for several YEARS ... when the tub was put in, the plumbing got done partway at first (enough to fill but not drain): I filled it and used a spare sump pump to drain the tub into the shower when I was done, I wanted a bath THAT BADLY!
Last week when Beth was sick, I joked about flipping the tub that's currently sitting in the middle of our living room, plugging the hole and filling it with water from the kitchen. I was only half-joking. I think I would have done it if it didn't weigh 300 pounds!
